In few words, the World Wide Guestbook extension allows you to open a side-panel while surfing the net with your Firefox browser.
In this side panel you have simple name plus comment field, allowing you to leave a comment at this website - even though this website might not have a comment-version build in!
The comments that you might see are a collection of all the comments of the current (sub)domain you are viewing. If you click on the date denoted at each comment, you will be redirected to the exact page at the domain that person was currently viewing.
The WWGuestbook was originally developed for Mozilla Firefox, but has now been ported to Google Chrome too.
