You don’t have to extract the whole archive. Simply drag & drop the files you need from the Archives preview window to the Finder or any another file manager.
Archives will allow you to import, browse, and/or preview all your compressed items. Archives has many features that make cataloging and searching easy.
Archives has default settings for different actions. For example, you can save default settings for compressing items and Archives will use it every time.
