SftpMan GTK is a free and open source GUI based application that will make it easier to setup and mount SSHFS/SFTP file systems.
SftpMan GTK relies on sshfs to do all the mounting work. SftpMan GTK allows you to setup many remote filesystems and helps you easily mount/unmount them.
Every system managed by SftpMan GTK is identified by an id such as `my-machine`, which is used in file paths and when managing the system.
Installation: To install SftpMan GTK on your Mac you will have to open a Terminal window, browse to SftpMan GTK`s folder and run the following command from inside that directory (you will need administrator privileges to be able to run it):
sudo python setup.py install
Requirements:
· Python 2.6 or later
· sshfs
· PyGTK
· sftpman
Limitations:
· Doesn`t support password authentication, only SSH keys
· Doesn`t support mounting in a location different than /mnt/sshfs/
· All logic runs in the GUI thread, which can make the GUI freeze for a while
