JnlpRunner is a free and easy to use tool which allows to launch any Java Web Start application, inside a currently running Java VM.
Running a Web Start application within another JVM allows to debug the application, which is not possible when the application is launched via Java Web Start™ directly.
Here are some key features of "JnlpRunner":
· Can be configured to use an already existing Java Web Start Cache.
· JNLP-File can be supplied as URL- or local file
· Can use Internet Explorer cookies for session based applications
· Additional classes can be injected into the class path of the application
· Can replace the start class, described in the jnlp-file with any other class having a main() method.
· Allows to mix signed and unsigned classes or archives in the class path
