Infiltration on Io is a free interactive fiction novel with a science fiction theme. Your stealth capsule, the ‘Curdled Yak,’ is drifting silently through the vacuum of space towards the dimly lit surface of Jupiter’s largest moon, Io.
You are only vaguely aware of the soft cushioning and delicate electronics surround you, entrapped within your suspension belts, and on the front viewport you can see Io’s grey surface approaching at what looks to be a dreadfully slow rate.
The computer has just awakened you, and you find that your brain circuitry now includes intricate knowledge of both the dry, sulphurous satellite you’re approaching and the settlement you’ll be entering, Plexon.
However, until your little capsule negotiates past the settlement’s sensors and lands on the surface, there isn’t much you can do. You drift off to sleep.
